TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Sugar Baebe Waxing LLC. By accessing our website (sugarbaebewaxing.com), scheduling an appointment, providing payment information, redeeming loyalty rewards, or purchasing products/services from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, please do not use our services or online platform.

2. Appointment Booking & Stored Payment Credentials

To reserve an appointment, Sugar Baebe Waxing LLC requires a valid credit/debit card on file and payment of a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.

• Non-Refundable Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment if requested at least 24 hours prior to the original appointment time.
• Card Vaulting & Payment Authorization: Payment details are processed securely through Stripe. By saving a card on file, you grant Sugar Baebe Waxing LLC express authorization to store your payment information and execute merchant-initiated, off-session charges to recover service fees, late cancellation penalties, or no-show charges as outlined below.
• Final Payments: Any remaining service balance will be charged upon completion of your service.

4. Late Arrivals

We enforce a strict 10-minute grace period. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, Sugar Baebe Waxing LLC reserves the right to shorten your treatment duration or cancel the appointment entirely to keep subsequent appointments on schedule. Late cancellations resulting from tardiness are subject to the standard 50% cancellation fee.

5. Online Store & Product Sales (WooCommerce)

All purchases made through our online store (including skincare products, digital gift certificates, and merchandise) are governed by the following terms:

• Pricing & Availability: All prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, modify product descriptions, or cancel orders resulting from typographical or system errors.
• Returns & Refunds: Due to the personal care nature of beauty and skincare products, all physical product sales are final once opened or unsealed. Defective or damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
• Payment Processing & Gateway Liability: Online payments are processed via secure third-party gateways (Stripe / WooCommerce Payments). Sugar Baebe Waxing LLC is not liable for technical outages, bank processing delays, or gateway errors beyond our direct control.

6. Loyalty Rewards Program (“SBW Bucks”)

Sugar Baebe Waxing LLC offers a client loyalty check-in program (“SBW Bucks”) to reward returning clients under the following conditions:

• No Monetary Cash Value: SBW Bucks, reward points, and generated tier coupons carry zero cash value and cannot be redeemed, transferred, refunded, or exchanged for cash under any circumstances.
• Coupon & Discount Usage: Reward discount codes are limited to one per eligible purchase/booking and cannot be stacked with other promotional offers unless explicitly stated. Reward codes generated via user portals are locked to the issuing user account.
• Anti-Abuse & Fraud Protection: Any attempt to tamper with QR check-in codes, manipulate server tokens, create duplicate accounts, or duplicate discount codes will result in immediate forfeiture of all accumulated points/coupons and potential account termination.
• Program Modifications: Sugar Baebe Waxing LLC reserves the right to modify, pause, restructure, or discontinue the SBW Bucks program or reward tier values at any time without prior obligation.

7. Text Messaging (SMS) & Digital Communications

By providing your phone number during booking, you grant express consent to receive automated transactional text messages (such as appointment confirmations, intake forms, and reminders) from Sugar Baebe Waxing LLC. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply.

8. Age Restrictions & Guardian Consent

Clients under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present during their initial appointment to complete and sign a treatment consent form on behalf of Sugar Baebe Waxing LLC.

9. Right to Refuse Service

Sugar Baebe Waxing LLC maintains a safe, hygienic, and respectful studio environment. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone exhibiting inappropriate behavior, compromised skin conditions, or medical contraindications that make waxing unsafe.

10. Intellectual Property

All branding, logos, website graphics, text, custom code, and media displayed on sugarbaebewaxing.com are the exclusive property of Sugar Baebe Waxing LLC. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or duplication is strictly prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability & Medical Disclaimer

By booking a service, you acknowledge that waxing involves hair removal from the root, which carries inherent temporary effects such as redness, minor bumps, or skin sensitivity. Sugar Baebe Waxing LLC shall not be held liable for adverse reactions resulting from failure to disclose medical conditions/prescriptions (e.g., Retin-A, Accutane, active skin treatments) or failure to follow post-wax care guidelines.

12. Governing Law & Severability

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

13. Policy Modifications

Sugar Baebe Waxing LLC reserves the right to amend or update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our booking system, loyalty portal, and website following updates constitutes explicit agreement to the modified terms.
